How Do I Place An Order?

**Orders from Email, Maker Workshop Facebook Fan Page , MEWE & Whatsapp (+852 6908 1157) are also acceptable**

It’s very easy to shop at our online shop. Choose your items & select the features e.g “Colour”, “Size” you want. Your shopping cart status will be updated accordingly.
When you’re done shopping and are ready to check out, you will go through three simple steps:

  • View cart and verify your items
  • Shipping information
  • Payment

An email confirmation will be sent to you for each order. Another email confirmation will be sent to you when your order has been dispatched.

Your chosen products are held for you once you place an order. Adding an item to your shopping cart does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase it at a later date. If the product you want sells out before you proceed through checkout, a notice will pop up during checkout.

For any urgent orders, please contact us to check the availability of the inventory and delivery arrangement.

Do I Need An Account To Place An Order?

You can checkout without creating an account.

How Do I Track My Order?

If you are a Maker Workshop member, you can check your order details by selecting “My Orders” in the account information page. Non-members who have placed orders can click the link “order tracking”, fill in your email address and Order ID to view order details.

Shipping Tracking numbers are provided for all international and local orders.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email notification from us with the tracking number. Use the tracking number to check the delivery status via the Hong Kong Post, and S.F. Express website.

How Can I Cancel My Order?

Once you have confirmed your order it cannot be canceled.

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

Orders delivered to Hong Kong and Macau postal addresses will be shipped via S.F. Express (HK & Macau industrial/commercial areas) or HK Post otherwise.

For HK industrial/commercial areas, orders will be sent via S.F. Express.

Customers can choose to pick up at  S.F. Stores Locations from here. We’ll deliver the goods to the designated S.F. Stores Locations and S.F. Express will notify customers by SMS when the goods arrive.

For HK non-industrial/non-commercial areas, orders will be sent via HK Post.

Do You Ship Internationally?

YES. We dispatch orders to almost everywhere in the world. You will be able to find a list of countries to where we ship during the checkout process.  We regret that we are not able to dispatch orders to countries that are not listed.

When Will My Package be dispatched?

Upon payment settlement and mock-up design approval.

You will be able to find a list of countries to where we ship during the checkout process.  We regret that we are not able to dispatch orders to countries that are not listed.

Please allow extra time for your order to be processed during public holidays and peak seasons. For a list of Hong Kong public holidays, please click here. For details on public holidays in the destination country, please refer to the country’s local government website. Note that delays may occur as a result of pending payment authorizations.

If you do not receive a tracking confirmation within 4-7 business days from the day you completed your payment, please kindly contact our customer service for more information.

Please be informed that in some cases your local customs office may require additional documents and time to have your package cleared. During such instances, the estimated transit time may be affected.

How does “International Standard Shipping” work?

Hong Kong Post’s Speedpost service for the International Standard Shipping are the option. Speedpost picks up your order, sorts it, applies the necessary postage, and handles the order until it reaches your country. Once the order arrives in your country, it is passed to your local post office for delivery. Hong Kong Post does not deliver the order.

Standard shipping should take 1-2 weeks to be delivered. However delays can occur in transit, so it’s possible to take up to 4 weeks for an order to be delivered.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept Credit Card payment online (VISA & MASTER). We use PayPal as our payment gateway. Even if you don’t have a Paypal account, you can still settle the payment. All sensitive information – credit card number, security code and expiry date will be passed to PayPal directly without being saved on www.maker-workshop.com.

For Hong Kong customers, we also accept bank transfer from HSBC & BEA. The bank account information of the bank transfer will be shown after the order is placed. Please send the bank slip to us for reference, after your bank transfer payment is done.

Published prices and final invoices are in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). Final credit card and PayPal debited amounts may vary based on currency fluctuations and bank commissions. Please make sure the online payment function of your bank card has been enabled.

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

All personal information submitted to www.maker-workshop.com will be handled with great care. Your information will not be disclosed to any third parties. The www.maker-workshop.com’s server will secure your personal information with up-to-date encryption techniques during the ordering process.

In order to protect our customers to the fullest extent, only the third party payment gateway – PayPal will request you for credit card information, www.maker-workshop.com does not store your sensitive information.

How Can I Return a Product?

If you received a defective or damaged item, please email us at info@maker-workshop.com with a photo of the defect, within 7 days from the delivery date. We will send you a replacement to you at no cost.
